Suffolk County Council’s Chief Executive, Deborah Cadman, is responsible for leading the work and future direction of the council and its 24,000 plus employees.
Deborah has extensive public sector experience in Suffolk, with six years in the top job at St Edmundsbury Borough Council and, more recently, as chief executive at the East of England Development Agency, where in 2010/11 she supported the creation of 8,800 jobs and 2,800 new businesses in the east.
Her role is pivotal in shaping effective public services in Suffolk, as a focal point for partners in the voluntary, health, local government and police sectors, as well as other partners from within and outside the county.
Deborah has kindly agreed to speak at this meeting and further details will follow shortly.
